Posture, movement and fitness screening · ages 6 to 16

Good movement is a habit. Habits start early.

We screen how children aged 6 to 16 stand, move and perform, then give you a plan to correct what we find — while a growing body still changes easily.

Flexibility is the one to work on. The rest is where it should be.

38%

of school students reported musculoskeletal pain

40.3% of girls and 36.5% of boys — and the same study found the less fit the child, the likelier the pain. Most of them have never been asked, and a body between 6 to 16 is still growing — which is exactly when a habit of standing or moving is cheapest to change.

Three visits’ worth of information, in about twenty minutes.

  1. 01

    We watch them move

A child walks, reaches, bends and squats while we film it. Two minutes, nothing invasive, no needles and no machines.

  2. 02

We measure what they can do

The 6 Khelo India tests — a sprint, a run, a reach, a curl-up and the rest — taken the way the national manual specifies.

  3. 03

You get a plan you can see

Every finding is shown on the body it belongs to, with what to work on and what to simply keep an eye on.

What comes back

Two questions, asked separately

What is going on in the body, and what the body can do. Different instruments behind them, so the report never blurs the two.

  • 51 patterns across posture, movement and fitness
  • 6 fitness measures, each against the same age and sex

Khelo India

SAI Khelo India Fitness Assessment

India's national school fitness battery, scored against children of the same age and sex. Every result comes straight from its own published tables, so a score here means what it means anywhere else.

Sports Authority of India

Between them they give us 51 patterns to look for — 18 alignment and posture, 29 movement and range, 4 fitness (khelo india) — and 6 measures of what a body can do. Every one of them is shown on the part of the body it belongs to, and every number traces back to a table you can read for yourself. See all 51.

  • This is a screening, not a diagnosis — naming a condition is a clinician's job.
  • 6 of the 51 patterns we look for say outright that a clinician should confirm them.
  • No child is recorded without a guardian's consent, and video is never kept on this site.
